Lottie

Little Lottie-Lou is my 1st daughter from my second marraige.
Fun and feisty, artistic and argumentative. Not quite sure where her blonde hair came from or how she has grown up so quickly.
Living where I do, she would be described as the milkman's child!
After requesting I be induced on her due date, due to me giving birth to baby elephants ( Emmi 8lb7, Ruby 9lb2, Alfie 9lb10, I was not keen to give birth to a 10lb whooper!), I was scanned at 38 weeks to find she was breach! The options were they manipulate her from the outside, vaginal breech delivery or C-section. I was gutted for Rich, his first child and not being able to experience a proper birth. We discussed our options and decided upon a planned caesarian.
I was shit scared
I had never had an operation before and having watched plenty of birthing programmes over the years the thought of the epidural needle being jabbed in my back petrified me. Rich has this incredible talent of suppressing any fear and hiding it and was amazing in the operating theatre - although as soon as she arrived he was off. All of a sudden I was second best!
Something that has and will continue. Little Lottie-Lou is his favourite! Her middle name isn't even Lou its Christine, but that is what daddy calls her!
Born in to a stable
Well an old pig shed... we had bought a house that needed alot of work doing to it and in the meantime it meant our bedroom was a groundfloor stone walled room, with a tin roof and no insulation. When we breathed there was vapour! It was freezing! Not quite sure how we managed, but we did with plenty of blankets and cwtches! Easily led by her older siblings, my only blonde child she brought the family together.
After 6 months, I was back at work
I had become almost robotic with work and needed adult interaction, I didn't go back full time and it was shift work so childcare was juggled, it made Lottie really independent, eventually starting nursery she became really outgoing, she developed a love for the outdoors, loving mud cakes and home made perfumes and collecting anything. She is a little hoarder! With me working her life seems to be flying by!
