Marnie

The last and final one - Marnie Diana

Named after my amazing Godmother Diana

We refer to Marnie as Minky-Mo the littlest one of all (Shockingly only 7lb10), stubborn, determined, inquisitive and energetic. Her most common saying is 'What took you so ages'. She has all of her Dads and my worst traits. She is certainly no pushover yet her nursery compliment her on how she looks after the little ones and never kicks off when she is there.

Trust me, she knows how to kick off - but that's another story!

Minky completes me and my family. She has made me significantly greyer and a much stronger Mum. She is wired ever so slightly different to all of my others and literally just snaps! She is no push over, I have no concerns of her being led astray, however I do worry that she will attempt anything - because she can. No fear whatsoever.

On a good day, she is as an absolute angel, like butter wouldn't melt. Currently at nursery, not keen to start school in September as wants to stay with her teachers!

Marnie loves animals and the outdoors, not afraid to speak with people she doesn't know.

Definitely suffers with the last child syndrome

You know you can get the t shirts for the first born, middle child and the last born.... Rules don't apply to the last one, she does as she pleases, structure and routine is far more 'loose' than when Emmi was small. something the older 3 constantly remind me of!

'That wouldn't have happened when we were little!' 'You only had to give us the look!'

But isn't this just how parenting goes? No manual, no instructions, no rule book.

We all do things that suit our circumstances. That is not to suggest that any of us do it wrong, we just do it differently. Something we should respect and support.

Now I know 5 children is a lot and we have to draw the line somewhere.

But I do miss my bump

The change in our bodies when pregnant, the amazement of growing another human being within, giving birth, the snuggling and snuffling of a newborn baby and how they smell, sleepless nights, teething, weaning. The tod dler tantrums, potty training, growth spurts, teaching and learning. It blows my mind how a child takes for granted exactly what you say to them, they really are sponges of information. Its incredible.

I know Marnie is extremely fortunate to be able to learn so much from her older siblings. My heart is at bursting point when all of my children are together.

Family is everything to me x

Marnie completes me
